    Meet Myah

    The Sorceress of Sound

Myah Stone, also known as Myah Moves, is a curator of intentional sonic experiences rooted in House/Electronic, Old School Soul & Funk, Hip-Hop and R&B music, from South Central, Los Angeles, California. She blends feel-good classics with deep, rhythmic grooves that keep bodies moving, spirits grounded, and audiences engaged across diverse settings. Known for sets that feel both relaxed and electric, Myah creates vibrant experiences that prioritize wellness, healing, and connection to self and community.

    The Journey

Myah Moves’ musical journey began when she bet on herself by leaving her life in Los Angeles to pursue her passion for music in New York City. During her time on the East Coast, she cultivated her career as a television, digital media, and audio production professional, music consultant, and disc jockey.

As an audio production professional, she has worked at major media companies like Vice Media, ABC Television, and Hearst Digital Media. She was also the Podcast Editor for Well + Good’s Award-Winning Podcast, “Routine Rundown”. When she served as a Music Consultant, Myah hand-picked and curated the soundtrack for Featherstone Entertainment’s web series, “Situationships” Season 2, which is now available on Tubi, Prime Video, and BET.

Now, as a DJ, Myah has successfully established a bi-coastal presence, securing residences throughout New York City and Los Angeles. She has DJ’ed at various venues including Pianos in NYC; Harlem Hops in NYC;; Angel of Harlem in NYC; California African American Museum [CAAM] in Los Angeles, CA; USC Kaufman School of Dance in Los Angeles, CA; Hollywood Farmers Market in Hollywood, CA; Malibu Village Mall in Malibu, CA; Original Farmer’s Market at The Grove in Los Angeles, CA; Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA and more.
She has also collaborated with organizations such as the United Negro College Fund and Syracuse University Alumni Network.

Myah continues to spin for wellness-focused events, art shows, premiere parties and galas, community pops, local farmers’ markets, corporate events, and conferences. She was also featured in Voyage Los Angeles’ online magazine discussing her DJ journey.

    Moving with Purpose

Regardless of her accomplishments, Myah is deeply connected to wellness-centered creativity and community.  Whether collaborating with local collectives, like Prosperity Market in LA, curating intentional day parties, or soundtracking movement-based events, she is passionate about creating spaces where people in marginalized communities feel safe, seen, and free in their bodies. Music is more than entertainment for Myah; it’s an outlet for wellness, restoration, reflection, exploration, self-love, and the embodiment of personal sovereignty.

    Off the Turn Tables

When Myah isn’t DJ’ing, she works in Post-Production on SpongeBob SquarePants, Kamp Koral, and The Patrick Star Show with the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, CA. She also continues to explore creative direction, audio and visual storytelling, and cross-medium collaboration to expand her work at the intersection of sound, energy work, activism, and the path to freedom.

In her spare time, Myah likes to touch palm trees and smell flowers during her nature walks, connect with her body by swimming, dancing, and doing yoga, spend quality time with loved ones, and watch RuPaul’s Drag Race.
